The parents of a Clairemont woman who was attending college in North Dakota have returned from the scene of the accident where their daughter died.
While preparing for her funeral, her parents are speaking with News 8 about the tragedy.
Investigators have released the cause of death of three college softball players—including one San Diego resident—found dead in North Dakota.
Preliminary autopsy results showed the official cause of death was drowning.
Clairemont resident Kyrstin Gemar, 22, and two other Dickinson State players were found dead inside Gemar’s Jeep after it was pulled from a pond Tuesday.
Investigators think the women got lost during a stargazing trip.
