SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Angel Pagan hit an inside-the-park home run in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving the San Francisco Giants a 6-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies. Troy Tulowitzki led off the 10th with his 10th home run to put the Rockies ahead 5-4. Pagan sent a drive that bounced at the base of the right-center fence and got away from Michael Cuddyer.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Josh Hamilton and Hank Conger homered to back Billy Buckner's first major league win since 2009, and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Kansas City Royals 7-0 for their seventh straight victory. Conger's opposite-field shot leading off the sixth inning was the first hit off Jeremy Guthrie, who dropped his third consecutive outing after going a Royals-record 18 starts without a loss.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks hope the trend of home teams winning games in the NHL playoffs continues for Game 6 tomorrow night when they look to stave off elimination against the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings. The home team has won all five games of this series so far with the Kings holding a 3-2 edge.

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Ryan Villopoto swept the 450 class motos at Thunder Valley Motocross Park to remain perfect after two rounds in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Villopoto, the Monster Energy Kawasaki star from Poulsbo, Wash., also swept the motos last week in the season-opening Hangtown event in California.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Obviously defeated Lucayan by 2 ½ lengths to win the $150,250 American Handicap at Betfair Hollywood Park, extending jockey Joe Talamo's roll in stakes races at the track. The 23-year-old rider has won the last four stakes, including going 3 for 3 last weekend.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has a simple goal for driving the pace car at the Indianapolis 500: Don't screw it up. Harbaugh will lead the field to the green flag to start tomorrow's race and he's been getting coaching from 3-time winner Johnny Rutherford.
