| KFMB-AM TECHNICAL DIRECTOR KFMB-AM Talk Radio 760 KFMB is searching for technical director.. This is a full-time position and may require some weekend shifts. Job duties include board operation, recording/editing, and the promotion/coordination of on-air content. Position requires a strong understanding of broadcast consoles (e.g. PR&E, SAS, Harris, Wheatstone, AXIA, Mackie, etc.) automation systems (e.g. Nexgen, ENCO, Audiovault), remote broadcast gear (e.g. Telos, Comrex, etc.) and editing tools (Adobe Audition, Pro-Tools, etc.). We are looking for someone who is dependable, creative, and able to multi-task; Candidates must have a minimum of 2 or more years of previous radio production experience, including experience with both on-air and off-air audio production, setting up remote broadcasts, and properly managing program clocks. Digital editing skills are required. |

KFMB-AM ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
KFMB-AM 760 Radio - San Diego's LEADING Talk Station - is searching for an experienced advertising Account Executive to consistently develop and generate new business. Position requires the consistent development of new business while meeting specific monthly revenue goals. Candidates must be able to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, craft proposals and business correspondence, effectively present information and interact with clients, follow up to ensure collection of payment from clients, and supervise all of the advertiser's promotional events that they sell. 3 to 4 years previous broadcast and digital sales experience required. Previous experience selling News/Talk radio and web sites is preferred. Candidates must possess a current valid driver's license and be able to provide proof of current automobile insurance.

| KFMB Stations - Human Resources KFMB (Human Resources) is seeking a highly motivated intern to assist with various HR projects. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program in Human Resources (Junior or Senior status) and have a strong desire to learn more about HR and how to apply the skills they have already learned. Intern must be able to to follow directions yet still work independently (under supervision), perform detail oriented work with a high degree of accuracy, and have excellent writing skills. Must also be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and internet savvy. |
| KFMB-TV NEWS 8 INTERNSHIP KFMB-TV News 8's internship program is intended to assist students who are interested in pursuing a career in the broadcasting industry. Internships will provide students with an opportunity to learn about television broadcasting as well as hands-on experience in the newsroom. Selected candidates will work closely with producers and will assist with various functions such as researching story ideas, writing scripts, retrieving video and working in the control room to bring the news to our viewers. We are looking for interns who are committed to a career in broadcasting and have already completed some prior journalism courses. Prior media-based internships and/or previous work experience in the broadcasting industry will also be taken into consideration when evaluating applicants. Juniors and seniors are preferred. |
| KFMB-RADIO PROMOTIONS INTERNSHIP Internships are available in Radio Promotions to help students gain work experience in radio promotions, including general administrative duties and the coordination of promotional events. Candidates must be able to drive themselves to/from remote locations and be able to lift 30-40 lbs. Internship hours are flexible but may involve weekends and holidays. |

KFMB INTERACTIVE INTERNSHIP
KFMB Interactive's internship program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in online journalism and learning how a news website is created, updated and sold on a daily basis.
Selected interns will learn how to update and edit stories for cbs8.com, as well edit and post video using a content management system. Candidates will assist the content manager and editors with daily news updates, as well as complete an individual project that will be determined during the course of the internship.
Internship candidates must have an interest in online journalism and have completed some journalism classes. Juniors and seniors are preferred. Knowledge of content management systems and web writing experience a plus. Prior online or media based experience and/or internships will be taken into consideration when evaluating applicants. Candidates must be available 10-15 hours/week.
