SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — Residents in Rancho San Diego are teed off over a plan to turn a golf course in the middle of their community into a sand mine.
On Monday, nearly 200 residents attended a public meeting to voice their concerns to the county. Residents expressed concerns over environmental impacts, traffic, and plummeting property values.
Rancho San Diego residents can submit public testimony on the Cottonwood Sand Mine Project online by November 22.
