Dog owners in L.A. are keeping a close eye on four-legged family members after reports of a dog flu outbreak.
The H3N2 flu strain was first reported in Chicago two years ago and spread out west.
Over 30 dogs have been quarantined, but at least 5 have been exposed.
The dogs at highest risk are the very old, the very young and ones with compromised immune systems.
Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, loss of appetite, and fever.
