Backlash over new 'wine' has its makers feeling blue
A group of friends in Spain is trying to win over traditionalists who say their batch of blue wine isn't wine at all. In fact, Spain and the European Union have banned the makers from even calling their drink "wine" because of its color. One of the creators says the process is completely natural and includes extracting the pigment from the skin of red grapes. Plans are underway to export the blue beverage to the U.S.
