FREE CONCERT & PICNIC TO HONOR FIRE HEROES
A free concert and picnic featuring the San Diego Symphony is being held on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Rancho Bernardo Community Park. People and business owners who live in Rancho Bernardo and its surrounding areas are recognizing the heroes of the fire. FREE KFMB APPRECIATION LUNCH
8,000 pounds of meat devoured...8,000+ bellies filled...and the Salvation Army coffers bursting! That's the story from Monday's event at Westfield Shopping Town North County. It's just one way for us to say "Thanks" to every firefighter, police officer, first responder and volunteer that helped our community during the fire. And a very special thanks to the entire staff of the Outback Steakhouse--you all did an amazing job!

Due to the fires raging in Southern California and the fact that the Del Mar Fairgrounds are being used as temporary shelters for evacuees of fire ravaged areas, the Del Mar Festival has been rescheduled to November 9-11, 2007 – still at the Del Mar Fairgrounds – all tickets purchased online for the October 26-28 dates will be honored in November.
