The San Diego Blood Bank
Blood donors are urged to check the San Diego Blood bank's Web site, sandiegobloodbank.org to stay updated on locations where they can donate blood this week, as several areas of the county where blood drives were planned have been affected by the fires.

According to the Mayor's Office, licensed nurses and doctors are needed to help relieve current staff at Qualcomm Stadium. Anyone who wants to help, can report to Gate A. Shift length is estimated to be between eight to 10 hours. Medical volunteers are requested to register through Volunteer San Diego.

Volunteer San Diego is working with the County, 2-1-1, and the Red Cross to identify volunteer needs in regards to the wildfires. Currently, trained first responders are assisting. Please DO NOT go to the evacuation sites or leave donations. Volunteer San Diego will post and distribute volunteer opportunities related to the fires as they become available.

Poway Community Center
The Poway Community Center is asking for donations of pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, baby food, baby formula, diapers, baby wipes, activities for children, stuffed animals and retail gift cards.
