Posted: Updated:
A drug-sniffing dog helped San Diego authorities make a major cocaine bust.

Border patrol agents found $828,000 worth of cocaine Tuesday at a checkpoint on Interstate 8 in Pine Valley.

Sixteen packages of cocaine were found hidden in the rear seat of a car.

The dog also alerted agents to 17 more packages of cocaine in the cab of a pickup truck.
