Globetrotter Edgerson Arrested Again

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A member of the Harlem Globetrotters has been arrested for the second time in two months on domestic violence charges.

Pima County Sheriff's Department officials say former Arizona basketball player Eugene Edgerson is suspected of assaulting his wife when she tried to call 911 during an argument late Wednesday night.

He also was arrested Feb. 18 after his wife claimed he pulled her hair during a dispute.

The 6-foot-7 Edgerson was a member of Arizona's 1997 national championship team and 2001 Final Four squad.

He's in his sixth season with the Globetrotters.
