Chula Vista Man Goes Missing; Possibly Has Dementia

Police reported that a 70-year-old man with possible dementia went missing over the weekend from his Chula Vista home.

William Davies was last seen at his home in the 500 block of Orange Avenue around 6 p.m. Friday, according to Chula Vista police. His family reported him missing around 12:30 a.m. Monday, police said.

Davies lives alone and has walked away in the past but has always returned after a short amount of time, according to police.

He is described as a white male, around 5 feet 5 and 140 pounds, with gray hair and bluish green eyes. He was last seen wearing a colored shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, and may be riding a silver four wheeled electric scooter, police said.
