Authorities Watching Border for Missing San Bernardino Boy

Posted: Updated:
Authorities are keeping a close watch on the California-Mexico border for signs of a boy who was kidnapped from his home in San Bernardino.

An Amber Alert was issued Sunday night for three-year-old Briant Rodriguez.

Deputies said two men snatched the boy at gunpoint during a home-invasion robbery. The boy's mother and five other siblings were tied up during the robbery.

The FBI has expressed concerns that the suspects will try to take the boy across state lines, and are closely watcher border checkpoints at San Ysidro and Otay Mesa.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic men, between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10, both with thin builds. They are believed to be between 18 and 24 years old.

Anyone with information or who sees the boy or the suspects should call 911 immediately.
