The ACLU on Wednesday threatened to sue Mt. Woodson Elementary School in Ramona. The group wants school officials to apologize to 6th-grader Natalie Jones, permit her to present her Milk project again in class and clarify its sex education policy.
The ACLU says the school's principal improperly concluded that Natalie's presentation triggered a district policy requiring parents to be notified in writing before their children are exposed to lessons dealing with sex.
School district officials did not immediately return calls for comment.
