Chargers Host Huntington's Disease Fundraiser

Posted: Updated:

The San Diego Chargers hosted a fun-filled party to raise money in the fight against a debilitating disease.

Chargers Park was the place to be for the 2009 "Cymer Shoot To Cure Huntington's Disease."

Bolts players were on hand to compete in a wild "speed free-throw shooting" contest.

Proceeds will go to battle Huntington's Diease - a neurological disorder that attacks brain cells.

Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson says, "One day you could be walking around talking, laughing... and the next day you could be struggling for your life. This really is a sad disease to take over."

This is the eighth year the HD fundraiser has been held.
