Suspect Held In Tijuana Boy's Death

TIJUANA, Mexico (AP) - Police in the border city of Tijuana have arrested a man for allegedly killing a neighbor boy who went missing over the weekend.

Baja California state prosecutors say 19-year-old Jose Ruben Quintero Mariscal, a native of San Diego, has confessed to strangling 8-year-old David Lizarraga Gomez with a shirt.

Prosecutors say Quintero Mariscal lured the boy to his house to sexually abuse him. They say the boy was killed shortly after being abducted Saturday.

Police found his body Monday stuffed in a suitcase on an empty lot near his home.

Prosecutors say found child pornography in Quintero Mariscal's home.

Gomez' disappearance over the weekend triggered the first bi-national Amber Alert.
