Man in wheelchair tackles suspected child molester

A Colorado man is being called a hero after throwing himself out of his wheelchair to tackle a suspected child molester.

According to KDVR FOX 31 TV, witnesses say a man sexually assaulted a young girl inside a Walmart in Westminster on Sept. 19, picked her up and then tried to flee the store.

Police say the man was attempting to leave the Walmart with the little girl in tow when Cameron Aulner jumped into action.

He launched himself out of his chair, pinned the suspect to the ground and held him until police arrived.

Aulner told the news station, "It was something that happened so fast, I didn't even think about it, I'm not a hero, I just did what you're supposed to do."

They've charged the suspect with sexual assault on a child.

Cameron says he just had the opportunity to do the right thing so he felt obligated to take action.
