Gov. Schwarzenegger says no special treatment for Polanski

Posted: Updated:
He has the authority to grant pardons, but Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said movie director Roman Polanski will not get special treatment.

Polanski was arrested in Switzerland over the weekend.

He fled the country on the eve of his 1978 sentencing in Los Angeles after he plead guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.

Polanski accuses Los Angeles prosecutors of misconduct and said he would fight extradition.
