He's accused of 19 robberies at businesses around the San Diego County. Now, National City police, with help from U.S. Customs, say they've captured the so-called "Backroom Bandit."

Dragon Jones, also know as the "Backroom Bandit," was arrested at the border, after he crossed back over into the United States.

Starting in late September, cities across San Diego County were targeted for a series of armed robberies. Those robberies all had similar suspect descriptions and actions and were named the "Backroom Bandit Series."

The 19 robberies took place in San Diego, Chula Vista, the County of San Diego, El Cajon, La Mesa and National City

Jones was identified by National City detectives, as a suspect in two National City Robberies, based on forensic evidence left at the crime scene.
