SAN DIEGO (CBS 8 / CNS) - A woman who had an affair with former Chargers receiver Chris Chambers is being charged with stalking and harassing his family after it ended.
Twenty-seven-year-old Stacey Saunders faces 11 misdemeanor counts on allegations she called Chambers' family several times from April through September.
Chambers, who acknowledged having an affair with Saunders, filed a restraining order against her this summer after she made calls, sent text messages and e-mails to his family that were "abusive and vulgar."
Saunders is scheduled to be arraigned next month.
Last month, the Chargers cited Chambers' off-field troubles as a contributing factor to the team's decision to release him. He was let go Nov. 2 and quickly picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs.
