Larry's 2010 predictions

Posted: Updated:

(CBS 8) - I want to apologize for not presenting my predictions for 2010 earlier, but it seems that my psychic powers are somewhat askew.

My shakra is out of whack with my aura, creating a viscosity in my vortex, I can't get in to see my guru until next week and I don't want to take a problem like this to urgent care.

I do want to remind everyone about the right on predictions I made last year. Remember I said that Tiger Woods would set some scoring records and Oprah would announce her retirement, which she will now do every day for the next year.

So now let me boldly go into the future with the following predictions for this New Year:

- After winning the Super Bowl, the Chargers will begin their 2010 regular season with two losses, causing dozens of wacky fans to call for Norv Turner to be fired.

- In a bold move, the City of San Diego will balance the budget, build a downtown library and finance the Chargers' new stadium, all by legalizing marijuana and then heavily taxing Twinkies.

- In a mediation agreement, the seals will be removed from the Children's Pool, but in turn be granted complete access to the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.

- Reality TV will follow the ongoing adventures of some local divas when it begins airing "The Real Housewives of Descanso".

Personally, everything about me is going to change in 2010. In fact, I'm on my way over to Maaco right now, where they're going to spray paint my aura a different color. I've always wanted to be a red.
