CHULA VISTA, Calif. (CBS 8) - A jury has found a South Bay elementary school teacher not guilty of molesting her underage godson, who was also a former student.

It took jurors four hours to reach a verdict in the case against 33-year-old Carmina Lopez, who was accused on 10 counts of committing a lewd act on a minor and one county of furnishing marijuana to a minor.

The teen testified that Lopez forced him to have sex while he was at her Chula Vista home helping her with chores. He also said Lopez bought him gifts, give him money and take him on trips.

Lopez testified that the teen raped her while he helping her paint her house. She also said the boy told her he would accuse her of molestation if she told anyone.
