SANTEE, Calif. (CBS 8) - The so-called "Geezer Bandit" has struck again. This time he has hit a Bank of America branch in Santee.

The Geezer Bandit reportedly showed the bank teller a demand note and pistol at the Bank of America branch in the 9700 block of Mission Gorge Road around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. He left, heading south, with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Geezer Bandit is said to be responsible for at least nine robberies in the San Diego area, starting in August 2009, according to the FBI. The banks targeted were in La Jolla, Carmel Valley, the La Playa neighborhood of Point Loma, Vista, Santee and Rancho Santa Fe.

The FBI has named the suspect the "Geezer Bandit," because he appears to be in his 60s or 70s. He's described as an elderly, white male, standing about six feet tall and weighing 190 pounds.
