SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - Animals in the path of the spill could use all our help. Among the most vulnerable are sea turtles, who are washing up dead or sick and covered in muck.
The Gulf is home to five sea turtle species, and they are all endangered.
Charles Gailband, the director of animals at the Chula Vista Nature Center joins us to explain the threats to sea turtles and why they are most likely to see long-term population loss.
