Petitions urge 2011 All-Star game be moved out of Arizona

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - Dueling demonstrations are planned today at the All-Star game in Anaheim over Arizona's illegal immigration law.

Labor, civil and immigrant supporters are pressuring baseball commissioner Bud Selig to move the 2011 All-Star game out of Arizona.

They presented Selig with a 100,000 signature petition, urging him to relocate the game from Chase Field in Phoenix.

Padres slugger Adrian Gonzalez opposes Arizona's immigration law.

It would allow police to question anyone they suspect is in the country illegally if they are suspected in another crime.

So far, Selig and Major League Baseball have refused to get involved in the debate.
