SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A masked gunman dressed in all black robbed a Jack in the Box restaurant in San Diego Monday but no one was hurt, police said.

The armed robbery at 1639 Euclid Ave. occurred around 6:10 a.m., according to San Diego police.

The robber, wearing a ski mask with eye holes, entered the fast-food eatery and pointed a black and chrome handgun at an employee, then demanded money, police said.

The employee complied and the robber fled northbound on foot through a nearby bank parking lot, police said.

The gunman was black and in his mid-20s, and roughly 5-feet-9 to 6-foot tall and 200 pounds, according to police, who asked anyone with information regarding the case to call robbery detectives at (619) 531-2299.
