SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 19-year-old man was recovering Tuesday after being stabbed during an attempted robbery in the Roseville area, police said.

The man was approached by two other young men at Garrison and Willow streets around 4:40 p.m. Monday, said San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The other young men ordered the victim to empty his pockets, Delimitros said, adding that when the victim refused, he was stabbed twice in his right leg.

The wounds were not life-threatening, according to the officer.
