With summer slowly fading into the sunset, many people scramble to have one last hoorah. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on plane tickets or driving hours on end, you can stay in San Diego for a great experience at very reasonable prices.

Directly on the bay, the Mission Bay Sportcenter is conveniently located in San Diego and provides rentals for just about anything that floats in the water. They treat their customers like they treat their boats - with above and beyond service.

The Mission Bay Sportcenter has boats from 14.2 feet to 25 feet long. The smallest boat carries four passengers and is $24 one hour or $96 for the whole day. With the gorgeous views around the bay chances are you'll want to sail for days on end.

One customer, Todd Jobin of Rancho Bernardo described his experience on the 25 foot sailboat as, "pure romance," followed with, "what's not to love about enjoying the sunshine while relaxing on the boat!?"

If you are a speed freak, the Waverunner Jetskiis have your name written all over them. Hourly they cost $95 and for the day the prices vary.

"There is no better feeling than hitting a wave at 40 miles per hour and flying through the air. My friends and I come here as much as possible because it is always worth it." Willis Somervell, a native of San Diego said.

Other than sailboats and jetskiis, Mission Bay Sportcenter also offers catamarans for a more leisure experience. The four person catamaran is $30 per a hour or $120 for the whole day whereas the six seat catamaran is $35 a hour or $140 for the day. They are perfect for floating in the middle of the bay and catching some rays, but can cruise through the water when the wind picks up. So you can experience the best of both worlds!

For people who enjoy physical activities, Mission Bay Sportcenter has kayaks, wind-surfing, pedal boats and paddle boards. Paddle boarding may look relatively simple to an observer, but don't be fooled because it takes balance and strength to successfully flow through the water without taking an accidental dip.

It's time to grab your crew, hoist your anchor and set sail to Mission Bay Sportcenter for a day of excitement around San Diego's beautiful bay and beaches!
