CAMPO (CNS) - Hundreds of homes and businesses in East County were without power Sunday because of a problem with an overhead electrical system.
The outage, which started just after 5:40 a.m., affected 332 addresses in Dulzula, Potrero, Campo, Jamul, Lyons Valley and Barrett Lake, according a statement from the San Diego Gas & Electric Co.
The utility said it expected to restore power by 3 p.m.
Temperatures in the area were reported by the National Weather Service to be near 87.
