SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 66-year-old woman who tried to cross a busy street in Tierrasanta was struck by a car Friday and died at a hospital, a San Diego police sergeant said.
The woman, whose name was not released, tried to cross the 11200 block of Tierrasanta Boulevard around 8:45 a.m. when she was struck by a 2001 Chrysler sedan, Sgt. Ray Battrick said.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died from her injuries, Battrick said.
