SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - It has been nearly a year since 23-year-old Brandon Robinson was shot to death in Balboa Park. The murder is unsolved. Now his family is pleading for the public's help in finding his killer.

It was back on Sept. 6 of last year that Robinson was shot in the head while sitting on his motorcycle in Balboa Park's Morley Field. He died at a hospital.

Robinson's parents say they are still heartbroken and want justice.

"He was a very sweet and lovely person and he really didn't deserve this," his mother, Donna Jones-Robinson said. "It is just like it happened yesterday. I miss my baby."

"Anyone who was at the park, please come forward. Anonymous or whatever.  Do it any way you feel comfortable. Please come forward. You know, let's solve this now. Let's solve this case now,' father Larry Robinson said

A $51,000 reward is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
