CARLSBAD (CNS) - About 1,500 San Diego Gas & Electric customers in the Carlsbad area were still without power Thursday morning because of a suspected problem with an overhead electrical system.
A Carlsbad-area circuit lost power at about 6 a.m., affecting about 1,800 customers, the utility reported on its website.
Power has so far been restored to about 300 customers. SDG&E estimates that power will be restored to the remaining customers by 11 a.m., according to the website.
