This has been terrific training weather, with the clouds and colder temperatures. For the most part. Expecting the wet weather on Sunday, I changed up my longer walks this weekend to Friday and Saturday, and without the sun blazing down overhead and no 100F degree temps inland, one could not ask for better weather to take a 5-hour walk around the neighborhood.
The second half of the weekend was supposed to be wetter, and boy, has it been. The drizzle has been measurable in a few spots around the county, and the wet weather may continue into the middle of this week. This could be a preview of November 19th's weekend for all you walkers out there. Is it possible to keep your feet dry in weather like this? It's a hassle, that's for sure. But November is a month that's typically with some weather like this, so let's hope this is either good for practice keeping those feet dry - or this is something you won't have to deal with come November 19th. (Walking with you, I'm hoping for the latter.)
