High schooler gives teammates $65K in jerseys

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Few sports stories are better than this. A football player falls ill with cancer and when offered the chance to make any wish he wants, he decides to give a gift to his team.

Patrick Henry High School sophomore Darren Shanks played freshman ball last year, was diagnosed this January, and hopes to play again next year as a junior.
