SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - A newly-released police report gives more details into what happened the night former Chargers linebacker Junior Seau was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
The arrest report reveals Seau's girlfriend was bruised and crying hysterically when Oceanside police arrived at Seau's home on the night of October 17th.
She told officers she was "scared to death" after Seau allegedly grabbed her and shoved her into a wall and dresser.
Seau was arrested that night.
After he bailed out of jail, he suffered minor injuries after driving his SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad.
He says he fell asleep behind the wheel.
The district attorney's office declined to file charges against Seau in the domestic violence case.
