SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - A pair of small earthquakes has rattled the East County.

A magnitude 3.4 quake struck around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, about 40 miles East-Southeast of downtown San Diego.

Just after 11 a.m. this morning, a 3.2 quake hit about 35 miles southeast of Mexicali.

This morning's jolt is one of thousands of similarly sized aftershocks that has shaken the area since the 7.2 quake struck Easter Sunday, killing two people in Mexicali.
