SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - A local church has announced plans to hold a memorial service for a woman who was found dead inside a burning car on the campus UCSD last week.

Although the medical examiner's office is still waiting for DNA confirmation, it is believed the body of 38-year old Lorena Gonzalez was inside the burning car that was found on October 29th.

Her husband, Julio Angel Garcia Puente, was arrested in Tijuana in connection with her murder and is back in the U.S. to face charges.

Next Saturday members of Gonzales's prayer group will hold a memorial service for her at Templo Cristiano Alpha y Omega Church.

It's located on South Rancho Santa Fe road in San Marcos, and starts at 5 p.m.
