More than 12,000 showing up for the Race For the Cure! I saw many people I know; many that had stories of breast cancer survivorship (either themselves or those close to them) and many who will be walking with me (and everyone else) in a couple of weeks for the 3-Day.
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - The weather was perfect Sunday morning for people who joined the fight against breast cancer in Balboa Park.
Every 23 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with breast cancer. Thousands of San Diegans worked to change that statistic at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
