Like the thousands of other like-minded San Diegans, it's the story of another individual ready to blister up and struggle through a 60-mile weekend waltz to help cure - once and for all - breast cancer in our lifetime.
You've probably seen more and more walkers the past few weekends, doing their training walks as the 3-Day Event gets closer this Friday...but now I'm seeing some support from residents who aren't walking! For example, on my route Saturday was a subtle pink ribbon:

And another home was kind enough to show some support for all those who are doing this event by putting some ribbons on their front gate:

I don't know who La Nor is, but I'm hoping to see her on Friday. She's got quite a cheering section already:

You can expect more of this in the next few days, as it seems like everyone is getting excited. Here's hoping for dry weather, even though the forecast calls for sprinkles.
