SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell one-tenth of a cent Monday to $3.157, the third consecutive slight decrease.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, but three-tenths of a cent higher than a month ago and 21 cents more than this time last year, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price fell one-tenth of a cent on Saturday and three-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
The average price is 1 cent less than its high for the year -- $3.167 -- which was reached on Aug. 12.
