SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A suspicious item that lead to the evacuation of part of San Diego State University and the halt of trolley service Tuesday afternoon was found to be harmless, officials said.

The item was discovered at the SDSU Transit Center at Hardy Avenue and Campanile Drive. Trolley service to the university was suspended and the Adams Humanities building closed while the item was investigated.
