BARRIO LOGAN (CNS) - Four people were injured in a four-car crash on the eastbound lanes of the Coronado Bridge today, authorities said.
The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. near the bridge's Interstate 5 interchange, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
Four people were transported to a hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known, the dispatcher said.
The right lane of the bridge's eastbound lanes was blocked by police, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was not immediately known what caused the accident.
