SeaWorld restructuring plan eliminates 350 jobs

SeaWorld is putting in place a new restructuring plan that will cost some of its employees their jobs.

The project will affect the company's headquarters in Orlando, Florida and 10 parks nationwide, including in San Diego.

According to SeaWorld, the restructuring will result in the elimination of about 350 jobs. The number of jobs that will be lost in San Diego have not been revealed yet.

Workers that will be laid off will be notified within the next two days.

SeaWorld employs 20,000 when it operates at full staff. In addition to California and Florida, the parks are located in Texas, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
