Adopt 8 kids of 2010 still searching for Forever Homes

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Each week on Adopt 8, we feature children who are considered difficult to place, including older children, sibling sets and kids with special needs. It makes it that much more touching when a family opens up their hearts and homes to these children.

We are so happy to share with you that 34 out of the 57 children we featured in 2010 have found Forever Homes. That's just about 60 percent, and we thank their families for making a difference. But 23 of the kids we profiled this year still need homes. Those children are still waiting in the hopes that the new year will bring them a new start with a Forever Family each one of them deserves.

Watch Marcella Lee's video report for more on these amazing children.
