2 arrested in Fallbrook stabbing death

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Two 19-year-old suspected gang members were arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing a man to death outside a North County fast-food restaurant.

Salvador Lopez Jr. and Robert Cruz Ramos were booked into county jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of murdering 24-year-old Kenneth Mose on Tuesday, sheriff's homicide Lt. Dennis Brugos said.

About 11:45 that night, a caller reported finding Mose lying in a parking lot outside a Carl's Jr. on South Mission Road in Fallbrook.

Medics airlifted the victim to a trauma center, where he was pronounced dead from stab wounds a short time later.

Brugos declined discuss a possible motive for the slaying or comment on evidence allegedly implicating Lopez and Ramos in Mose's death.

"In an effort to maintain the integrity of this investigation, specific details with respect to what led investigators to these suspects will not be addressed at this time," the lieutenant said.
