EL CAJON (CNS) - A Ramona music teacher was convicted Thursday of molesting three sisters and possession of child pornography.

Mark Lewis Kinney, 48, faces up to 32 years to life in prison when he is sentenced March 18 in El Cajon.

Kinney was convicted of seven child molestation counts and one count of possession of child pornography. A jury acquitted him on two additional child molestation charges.

Kinney was arrested in December 2009.

According to prosecutors, Kinney molested the girls, took pictures of two of them and had child pornography on his computer when he was taken into custody.

The oldest sister testified that Kinney molested her when she was 9.

Kinney, a pianist and drummer who gave private music lessons throughout San Diego County, took advantage of his position of trust with girls younger than 14, sheriff's officials said.
