EL CAJON (CBS 8) - If you're not feeling the love this Valentine's Day, be prepared to be smitten by the beautiful and talented students at St. Madeline's Sophie Center.
"We serve adults with developmental disabilities from 22 to 80," Executive Director Deborah Emerson said.
Family members, students and staff have been culling their culinary skills for their Valentine's Day bake sale. The beneficiary of their fundraiser is Magic Horses, an agency that teaches adults with disabilities to ride horses.
"Our students also fundraise to raise money for outside agencies. They want to give back to the community. They want to be part of the community," Deborah said.
State-funded St. Madeline's Sophie Center serves over 380 adults with disabilities.
"They all learn job skills. They work out in the community," Deborah said.
