SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A San Diego man was sentenced Tuesday to 10 1/2 years in federal prison followed by 10 years of supervised release for distributing child pornography.

Llewellyn Hartzog, 47, pleaded guilty July 2 to transferring images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in San Diego.

Hartzog admitted that on or about May 24, 2005, he knowingly distributed visual depictions of juveniles engaging in sex acts.

Judge Roger Benitez also ordered Hartzog to pay $9,000 in restitution to three of the underage victims depicted in some of the pictures.

The case stems from an investigation by the county Sheriff's Department and the multi-agency San Diego Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
