Local bank makes dream of home ownership a reality - CBS News 8 - San Diego, CA News Station - KFMB Channel 8

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - California Bank and Trust is helping make the dream of home ownership a reality for six local families.

Representatives from the bank presented a total of $85,000 to Habitat for Humanity.

That money will go toward six local families, to be used as a down payment on their new homes at the Roosevelt Gardens Project" in Carlsbad.

One of the families we talked to said they are very appreciative, because now, they'll finally have a place to call their own.
