SAN DIEGO, Calif. (CBS 8) - The Chargers will have some more muscle patrolling the defense, assuming the players and owners agree to a new deal.
Bob Sanders has reportedly agreed to a 1-year deal with the Bolts.
Sanders is a two-time pro-bowler from the Indianapolis Colts, and a fierce and physical defensive player.
His upside is he's not afraid to hit people. The downside is he gets hurt a lot because he's so physical.
Sanders tore his right bicep in the first game last season and didn't play again.
The Colts released him earlier last month.
If Sanders can stay healthy, he will provide a huge presence in the Chargers' secondary.
