SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - This is a really easy and delicious brownie recipe just in time for St. Paddy's day. Enjoy!
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup ea- dark brown sugar, packed 1 cup white sugar
4 eggs, r/t
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup Bailey's Irish Creme liqueur
1 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cake flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x9-inch square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Melt butter in microwave in a large mixing bowl. Stir in sugars until well blended. Stir in eggs one at a time, making sure each egg is completely mixed in before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla and Bailey's then add the cocoa powder.
Sift together the salt, baking powder and flour. Stir into the wet mixture until completely combined. Pour into baking pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Remove from oven, let cool completely and cut into squares before serving.
